Dover Street Station opens.

Architect: Alexander Longfellow Jr.. It is located at the corner of Washington Street and East Berkeley Street (then Dover Street). Altered by Robert S. Peabody in 1909, the building is demolished when the Orange Line is rerouted in 1987.*
